Where did the '"org.eclipse.jdt.core' go in Flex Builder 3 Beta 2? (standalone)

For those who might want to install Flex Builder 3 Beta 2 in the standalone version, you might stumble in this error when trying to install CFEclipse or CFExtensions. To fix this you just have to go:

Help > Software updates > find and install > search for new features to install >

Select Europa Discovery Site and uncheck ignore features not applicable to this environment. > Pick a mirror > select Java Development > Eclipse plug-in development Environment 3.3 Eclipse Java Development Tool 3.3.1 (thanks to Brendan Meutzner for correcting me).

After that you should be able to install any plugin which requires jdt.

Brendan's Gravatar A co-worker also discovered that he needed to (and I had to as well) select the option above Eclipse Plugin Development Environment labeled:

'Eclipse Java Development Tools 3.3.1.r331_......'

Selecting only the 1 option doesn't allow you to continue install process...

barry.b's Gravatar any idea what's happened for the library to be missing, was it a simple oversight in Flex Builder 3b2? (and thank heavens for beta programs, eh?

or is it an incompatability with FB and CFEclipse?

João Fernandes's Gravatar Barry, they might have removed some features from the core to make the install smaller but they are already aware of the problem and will fix it.

JB's Gravatar Unfortunately our organisations firewall prevents automatic updates.
Is there another way to get the plug-in?

Close your firewall for a few minutes during the updates.
